Canon mengeluarkan seri 1100D yang baik untuk pengguna pemula camera jenis DSLR.Dengan harga yang murah dan fitur yang sudah lumayan lengkap bagi penggunanya.Dengan desain yang sangat mudah digunakan,tidak membuat penggunanya kesusahan dalam pengambilan gambar,Canon EOS 1100D sangat pas buat anda dalam mencoba camera DSLR.


Untuk tombol kontrolnya,sudah terbilang lengkap dengan adanya aperture, shutter dan mode eksposur manual, serta otomatis dan berbagai scene mode.Serta mode untuk pengambilan video HD 720p.

Ini adalah camera pertama yang datang dengan estetika kesempurnaan bagi pengguna pemula camera DSLR.Tampil dengan beragam warna Cherry red, black dan brushed silver / grey.
Kalau bicara masalah bobot,camera satu ini terbilang lebih berat dibandingkan dengan Nikkon D3100.Bobotnya mencapai 500 gr sedangkan Nikkon D3100 hanya 455 gr.Namun,sensor gambarnya lebih tinggi dari saudara sebelumnya yaitu 1000D.Canon EOS 1100D sudah 12.1 megapixcel CMOS
Canon EOS 1100D menghasilkan gambar yang akurat untuk semua jenis pencahayaan itu artinya camera satu ini mampu bekerja di dalam ataupun di luar ruangan sekalipun.White Balance pada pengaturan otomatis menghasilkan gambar terlihat alami.Namun anda akan mendapati perbedaan pada gambar tipe RAW dan JPEG.


1100D menunjukkan sedikit perbedaan antara pengolahan gambar nya RAW dan JPEG untuk sebagian besar pengguna. File RAW memberikan sedikit lebih rinci dan kejelasan pada tingkatan ISO tinggi,Gambar diambil pada ISO 1600.

Namun,untuk video recording Canon EOS 1100D hanya menyediakan batas waktu 17 menit saja dalam perekamannya.Waktu yang lumayan untuk mengambil rekaman durasi standar.Kontrol video juga tidak ada yang manual alias semua otomatis.Dengan ini memudahkan lagi bagi pemula untuk tetap focus kepada objeknya.
